I Know That I'll Be Living It In Canada

Anyone that knows me, knows I am forever trying to get people to get people to listen to my music, case and point being all of various blogs on this subject, example, here, here, here and here. (Although, you should all listen to The Beatles. Really)

So here is another list, Canadian artists that I love, and you should too.

The Trews—100% Rock and Roll.
Songs to Discover: Yearning, Tired of Waiting

Blue Rodeo—Poignant songs that say the things you never could.
Songs to Discover: Bulletproof, Somebody Waits.

Stan Rogers—I know his songs are about boats for the most part, but wonder folk singer. Much, much better than Gordon Lightfoot. I promise!
Songs to Discover: The Mary Ellen Carter, Forty-five Years

Sam Roberts—I have yet to hear a Sam Roberts song that I have not fallen in love with.
Songs to Discover: Bridge to Nowhere, Every Part of Me

The Tragically Hip—Yes, I do have to thank my brother for this find. Wonderful lyrics that you will be quoting for years to come. Up to Here is an album that should be in every Canadian’s collection.
Songs to Discover: Something On, Grace Too

Sloan—Very Beatlesque. I love the Navy Blues album!
Songs to Discover: Keep On Thinking, I’m Not Through With You Yet.

Soul Decision—Cheesy boy band. More for just a laugh!
Songs to Discover: Kiss the Walls, Faded.

Michael BublĂ©—He could sing the phone book, and I would still be in love.
Songs to Discover: The Way You Look Tonight, That’s All
