I'm Gonna Inject Your Soul With Some Sweet Rock 'n Roll

I realized that I (along with my roommates) listen to the same songs over and over on the ipod. Sometimes a new song gets added to the loop. But for the most part it is probably the same 50 songs. So I turned on the play count to see what our top 10 songs were. Here is the list.
Top Ten
1.
Night Drive
Jimmy Eat World
92

(Do you think this could be our all time favourite song? 92 times!?! This is the song that road trips are made of. Whether it be to Great Falls or Coaldale, this is our favourite sing along song.)

2.
Hey There Delilah
Plain White Tees
89
(One to listen to when days are grey. Thanks to Brent for showing me this song. Everyone loves it now! What would we do without you! )

3.
I Will
The Beatles
81
(How could The Beatles not be part of the Top Ten! This is such a simple beautiful song that it just leaves you with a wonderful feeling. Check it out. I think you will agree.)

4.
If Only
Goldfinger
77
("If I woke up with all these things, would it even change your feelings. None of that is even me.")

5.
Middle of Nowhere
Hot Hot Heat
64
(I went through a long Hot Hot Heat phase shortly after I got my ipod. It reminds me of last summer. Long drives and rainy nights.)

6.
If You Don't, Don't
Jimmy Eat World
62
(The first time I actually heard this song, my brother's band was doing a cover of it. So it alway reminds me of my brother...sorry, that sounds creepy.)

7.
Red Dress
Motion City Soundtrack
52
(This is the song that blew my speakers. Play it loud, Play it long! Actually I wasn't really a fan of it. But Eric loved it, so I think about him when I listen to it. Eric says, "It is probably the best song on the whole CD.")

8.
Be My Escape
Reliant K
49
(My best friend in High School loved Reliant K. I never really got it until about a year ago. I only wish I would have listened back then.)

9.
I've Got A Feeling
The Beatles
41
(Oh! Yes. One of the best Beatles songs of all time. "How come nobody told me all I was a looking for was someone that looked like you.")

10.
Stewball
Peter, Paul and Mary
39
(Peter, Paul and Mary. My parents really liked them in the early '80s. This song reminds me of my dad.)

Honourable Mention

In The Shadows --The Rasmus
(Ashley Smith loves this song. Especially when we are going to a dance, or ward counsel. It gets us pumped up!)

Mary Ellen Carter--Stan Rogers
(It is a song about a sunken boat. Sounds lame, but it is a good song.)

Crazy in Love --Beyonce
(If you want a good song to dance to in the car, you have just found it.)

Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight --James Taylor
(I am some what surprised that there isn't a James Taylor song in the Top Ten!)

Stand By Me, Yeah--Sloan
(I love the drums at the beginning of this song!)

Stuck in a Moment--U2
(It made so much sense when I really was Stuck in a Moment.)
