Amen

Tonight our living room, along with the rest of the world, burst out in applause as we watched the first and last of the 33 Chilean miners rescued from where they had spent the last 70 days, deep underground.

Check out pictures of the amazing rescue.

As someone who only recently was reunited with a far away brother, I had a small idea as to the excitement those families were feeling. I was in constant contact with my brother, and even knew an amoeba wouldn't stop me from seeing my brother again.

It seems like it is only events like this that make us remember how blessed we are, and all of the small things we take for granted everyday.

Congratulations to the rescue workers who worked tirelessly to get the miners free.
Welcome home to the brave men who survived the ultimate challenge.
Thank you to God and all his angels for not only insuring a safe and effective rescue, but also for watching over these men for so long.

Miracles really do happen.
