Last night Jenny and I ran a few errands, picked up some new DVDs and of course, juice, ate way too much licorice, and actually decided to go to bed half early. I quickly fell asleep and was in the middle of a stupid dream when I heard a strange noise. Thinking it was just part of my dream, I tried to just fall back asleep, that was until Jenny knocked on my door.
It was only then that I realized that the firm alarm was going off in the hallway of the building. Jenny and I grabbed our jackets and headed outside. Once outside we went to the front of the building, and found ourselves alone. No one else, not one person from our four-story apartment building, had exited the building.
Confused and cold, Jenny and I waited in my car for the loud fire alarm to stop. The fire trucks never came, and no one else from the building ever came outside, so I guess Jenny and I weren’t really in danger. Finally, the alarm was turned off and Jenny and I headed back inside. Shortly after 4:00am, I found my way back to my still warm cocoon of blankets and pillows.
A big thanks to Jenny for saving my life from no apparent danger.

that is such a crazy story! I don't understand why nobody else left the building. What if there was a real fire. I think they would think differently if there was. Hope you are having a good day!
