So I finally went along with it and decided to actually participate in Jeans Day at the office. Earlier this summer a huge memo came around stating that we could wear jeans to the office on Fridays if we were still able to be professional. The memo outlined what was appropriate denim wear and inappropriate denim wear.
I brought a copy of the memo home for Jenny, and we had a good laugh or two over “No tie-dyed or acid wash jeans” (what are tie-dyed jeans?) or “Bib-Overall Jeans should not be worn” (Are there other kinds of overalls?)
Wearing jeans or wearing dress pants to work is about the same. They are all just pants. But today with my boss gone and only half a day of work ahead of us, I slid into my jeans to probably be the most casual I have ever been at the office.
Last night Jenny and I ventured to Walmart to get more juice. Seriously, our whole fridge is just full of Cranberry and Cranberry blended juice, as well as a vast supply of Low Acid Apple Juice. There really isn’t much in the fridge in terms of real food.
Realizing we had yet again finished all of the TV on DVD series we already owned, we headed down to see what new series we could start. We searched through the highly overpriced DVD and at the end of the rack found all of the sale Season One DVDs. After a debate or two we settled on Veronica Mars and went home to begin the highly acclaimed drama.
Now I should explain who exactly has acclaimed this show highly. Boys. It seems as if every guy Jenny and I know have a deep love for this show and have begged us for years to begin watching the program.
For all of you who have not watched the show, imagine it as, the tax bracket of the OC meets the teen angst of Dawson’s Creek, meets the behind the scenes crime fighting of Penny and Brain on Inspector Gadget. Jenny and I enjoyed the episodes we did watch, including the episode staring Paris Hilton, and are hoping to enjoy the show more with each new episode.
A busy weekend seems to be in our mist with the Annual Victoria Park/London Road Raft trip on Saturday, as well as a myriad of family and friends on Sunday as Eric speaks in church before he leaves (Can you believe how fast the time has gone?)
Just spending my time in the calm before the storm.
Have a good weekend! Please be safe.
As Always,

I can't say I've seen Veronica Mars; keep enjoying. I'm currently having to watch every episode of Stargate SG-1 which Greg got for Father's Day. I know, I'm married to a geek, but once you get to know the characters it's not so bad (plus, Richard Dean Anderson is pretty cute!) Thanks for the suggestions for the templates. Hopefully soon I'll have time to change things up a bit more. Thanks! We hope to see you when your family comes down.
I was worried you were going to say you hated Veronica Mars, Brad and I are huge fans. Keep watching, it only gets better. I know it's two seasons away but be prepared for a lousy, unexpected, unresolved series ending. It will leave you unsatisfied.
I've only watched the first season when it was first on TV and then they like only would have it on a certain channel and because of lack of cable, well I stopped following. Soon after they cancelled the series! I was ticked. I thought it was a good story line. VM is an interesting show and she's very believable at being a teenager.
I've only seen like an episode of Veronica Mars. It seems like you write daily on your blog...or at least every other day. I'm trying to do so but I feel like I could be boring people with what I say. I'm still going to write on my blog as much as I can.
