Welcome to this, the 300th post. I guess I am doing pretty well at getting new posts out. The 100th post was in August 2006 and the 200th post, less than a year ago in July.
As you might have noticed, I really did change the look of my blog. (Although, I still do miss the old one.) Something is missing on the new one, but I can’t really put my finger on what. And I don’t know that I am overly happy with the color of the text yet (it looked much better on my computer at home. But here at work, not so awesome.) To be honest, right now, it is the best I could do and I already spent too much time yesterday trying to figure out HTML codes. Let me know if you have any suggestions.
This weekend wasn’t quite long enough. We suffered through the unnecessary daylight savings time change and wrongly decided a viewing of ‘The Holiday’ would rid us of any bad luck we might currently possess. We advised Ashley a few times via speakerphone, and I even met my new aunt. Good thing there are only 4 ¾ more days until the weekend comes around again.
Recently, Facebook has had nothing exciting to offer me. Pictures of everyone’s niece or nephew, people in and out of love as they change their relationship status and offers to “See What Disney Princess You Are!” Wall posts and messages are few and far between. But we have been on Facebook a year, and I guess everyone is looking for the next digital medium in which to communicate with.
However, today when I checked Facebook, I noticed a question in the Compare People section of my profile. The question was: “Would you date Denise?”
I checked the results of the question and found the following:
Yes—10
No—211
Excuse me! Two hundred and eleven people don’t want to date me! Why? I am hoping that that majority of the people who said no are girls, or people that are related to me. And as for the 10 people who would date me, where are you?
Oh well, I don’t really want another technological romance anyways.
Here’s to:
Monday morning birthday cake
Already being a head of the eight ball, for now.
Mary’s new blog! (I will post a link soon.)
As always,
