A Modest Success, A Shill, Or A Sham

Hi Everyone. I really missed all of you. I’m hoping you had a great long weekend (last one until May). I really had every intention on updating you all during my time away from the office, but we all know about best laid plans. I planed on doing a lot more than I ended up doing, but winning the Sleep-In Competition seemed to be the precedent everyday.

Congrats to those who are newly added to my links! Why I didn’t add you sooner is beyond me. I also couldn’t bring myself to remove those blogs who hadn’t updated in a while. Hopefully you all will get motivated soon.

I started to write up a weekend in review for you all, but about half way through my already long post, I realized that maybe you weren’t overly interested in my systematic scamper through the last four days. And as if you really cared about the Full House marathon we hosted. Just know that the last couple of days were full of a lot of eating, sleeping, laughing and more candy than we probably really need.

This weekend I also finished reading my fourth book, since January, about dating. Now, I am sure that all of these books would advise against discussing these books so publicly, but since most of my readership is female, who cares. The one I just finished was probably my favourite, partly because it was the only one written by girls, and secondly because it seemed to be a replay of The Fascinating Girl (who doesn’t love that book) without being afraid of cows, or homemade dresses.

I am really disappointed to have missed the dance. I was looking forward to putting some of my new skills into effect. At this point, I am sick of strangling chickens. (Ask me about that analogy some other time.) But from the small amount I used my new system on Friday and Sunday, it really did seem to make a difference, or at least, kept me focused.

I also found my old phone this weekend. It has been a year since I was able to put Satan’s phone to rest. The phone itself wasn’t the problem, just the outrageous bills associated with it. It is amazing how much can really change in just a short year. Although it was funny to see the beginning. Now knowing the end, the optimism was really cute.

Four hopefully short days until the end of the week, and end of March (Unbelievable!) is with us. There are a lot of things to complete in the mean time and in between time.

Thanks for a great weekend.

Just a random list to end off today.

1. Despite the fact that everyone has returned to their lighter locks, I am still enjoying the dark hair.

2. After thinking that time could really change things, I am done wanting what I didn’t really need.

3. Where to now? If I had to guess, I’m afraid to say Antarctica’s next.

Keep on doing what you’re doing.

As Always,
