Welcome to the last real day of February. In a week of such normalcy, it is probably proper that we celebrate a fake day in February. Maybe we should do something phenomenal to mark the day. We will have to wait all the way until 2012 do something just as great, and well, who knows where we all will be. Frighteningly, I will be 30.
Just an update for all of you. Flick and I decided to text JTW just to find out exactly what had happened to him on Sunday night, and why he stood us up. He apparently “ended up in Cardston”. Let me tell you this, no one just ends up in Cardston, well, unless you are on your way to Del Bonita.
Today seems to be just one of those slow boring days. I don’t have any funny stories, nothing overly exciting has been going on, and I am not mad at anyone or anything, so I thought I would give you more funny questions. Enjoy!
1. What bill do you hate paying the most?
Car Registration! Boo! I already bought a license plate, what more do you want?
2. Where's the best place to eat a romantic dinner?
Loaded question.
a) for pure privacy—Osh-o
b) for wonderful food—360
c) for great atmosphere--Mocha
3. Last time you puked?
Really, you don’t want to know that. Let’s just say I have learned to keep my food down better than when I was little, but still not that good.
4. Name of your first grade teacher?
Miss Dawson---I hope she got married, I don’t think she was that old.
5. How many colleges did you attend?
Technically, one. Post Secondary Institutions: two
6. Why did you wear the shirt that you have on right now?
One with multiple answers:
a) Mary always comments when I wear this shirt
b) I recently got complimented on it.
c) I didn’t want to wear a vest to work.
d) It is black.
7. Gas Prices. First thought?
I think I still have ½ a tank.
8. If you could move anywhere and take someone with you?
Saskatchewan. I would take anyone willing to come. So, probably no one. :(
9. Last thought before going to sleep last night?
Probably figuring out what I was going to wear today.
10. If you didn't have to work, would you volunteer at an art gallery?
No. Art gallery? Why?
11. Get up early or sleep in?
Uhm, do you know who you are talking to? I don’t speak before 10:00am
12. Do you see yourself married in the next five years?
This is going to sound lame, but hopefully. I don’t think I could go to a family ward alone.
13. Beach or lake?
Neither. Put some chlorine in that water first, and then maybe I will think about it.
14. Do you think marriage is an outdated ritual that was invented by people who died at 20?
I don’t really know what that means. If you are dying at twenty, why would you need to invent marriage? I think it was invented for those people who’s friends all died when they were twenty and they didn’t have anyone else to hang out with.
15. Do you like the person who sits directly across from you at work?
Everyone at work is okay. We aren’t friends.
16. What famous person would you like to have dinner with?
Paul McCartney, George Strombolopolous, Anderson Cooper, George Clooney, Sarah Jessica Parker.
17. Last book you read?
The Luckiest Girl—as suggested by Jenny Olsen.
18. Favorite Olympic Sport?
Too many! Any swimming, diving, rowing, speed skating, figure skating
19. How many jobs have you had?
Eight. I hope I didn’t miss any.
20. Are you where you thought you would be at this age?
No, but it isn’t that bad either.
Hope you all enjoy your evening and do something exciting and/or unexpected.
So excited to be in contact with one of my favourite Dutch persons again!
Lots of love.
