Well a happy Tuesday. Just sad that the last long weekend until Christmas is over. The weekend really wasn’t overly exciting. I spent more time in pajamas (isn’t that a stupid word) this weekend than in real pants. But sadly didn’t get any amount of room cleaning done. In fact, I think it is messier than before, if that is even possible.
I have spent today listening to the Preference CDs I have made over the past couple of years, and am relieved I don’t have to put one together. It is a lot more work than it is really worth, and I am too vain to just use the same CD every year. Personalized or bust.
For reasons only somewhat known to me, I have been nominated “Ward Preference Finder Outer” (I should really come up with a better title than that.) Ladies come to me with an idea of who to ask and I find out of the person has been asked and a creative way in which to ask them. Seriously, the hardest part of this whole Preference game. But I have agreed because most of the girls that have used my services, have never been to Preference, and are quite clueless about the whole procedure.
I have enjoyed all of the underground, private eye tactics I have had to employ. I am just happy I haven’t stooped to combing through any guy’s garbage. And just finding it just a little bit weird I won’t be attending this year, if only to check up on all of my matchmaking. C’est la vie. I am guaranteeing that my night will be a fun-er and less stressful than any preference any of you could come up with.
And in the end:
Kinda sad with the anticlimactic ending, and thinking maybe this thing really should have come to blows. Is pretending it never happened really a solution?
Thankful for Keely’s brief return to The Bridge. Maybe it is just what we needed to turn Season Two around. Looking forward so much to next weekend!
Speaking of The Bridge, just wondering when Sweeps is going to be over, and if the second half of the season gets better.
Funny times with Ashley and Tchotchke Alley. And more commiserating with each other. Things really can’t get any stupider, can they?
Thanks to everyone.
Well, good luck and of course, God speed.
