Yes She Did, Yes She Does

Well, welcome to September. So far the new year has come in like a lamb. Nothing overly exciting. Here’s hoping things start to look up.

I spent to the long weekend with most of my favourite people, trying to create some sort of last of the summer magic or memories, and eating a lot of food.

Today there is no play by play of what allure the weekend did hold but rather more questions to answer.

What surprises you most about your adult life?
It isn’t that exciting staying up late or eating whatever you want. And that everyday, whether winter or summer, is the same when you are working.

What are you most proud of?
Winning the Miss Victoria Park competition. But seriously, none of my accomplishments are that big. I have yet to save the world, publish a book or see my name in lights, but I have family and friends that love me, a job that at least is related to my field of study and everything I need and most of what I want.

What scares you?
Clowns, Michael Jackson, Turkeys, Satan, The Dump, Heights, Being Alone…the list is pretty long.

How often do you weigh yourself?
I have a general ideal about how much I weigh. Do I really need to know an exact number?

What’s your main source of news?
Highlights of CNN at lunch and the news on the radio in the morning. Other than that, I find local new to be too annoying, and never find the time to watch The National. (I miss you, Peter Mansbridge)

What’s your current theme song?
Slip Sliding Away—Paul Simon
Ten Minutes—The Get Up Kids

What’s your favorite junk food?
Oh my good heavens, another list that is lengthy. But I think of all of them, I love Hershey Kisses the most.

Something that’s been on my mind lately is…
How Long Is Too Long, and every other Get Up Kids lyric. They all seem to apply.

My life would be simpler if…
I knew what I was doing, instead of just making it up as I went along.

Here’s to:

Eight more months until another kick at the summer can.

Season Two starting out a lot slower than Season One.

A fortunate reunion with the cute bank buddy!

More time spent C.D. and less expectations.

Me contemplating everything, including you.
