Don't Think We're Not Serious, When's It Ever Not

A Happy Rosh Hashanah to all of my Jewish friends, Happy Ramadan to all of my Islamic friends, and a Happy Thursday to everyone else.

I have been a day ahead all week, thinking it was Wednesday on Tuesday and I thought yesterday was Thursday, so this has been an exceptionally long week. But thankfully we really are on the downhill side of the week, so things are starting to look up.

Today it is up to you to answer this debate.

Thanks to Much Music we are able to watch hit and miss episodes of The OC, and relive all of our favourite moments from season one.

Seth, one of the cutest characters on primetime television, (back me up ladies.) has two girls that like him. (Lucky for him).

First is Summer, the girl that Seth is definitely intrigued by. She seems to have some magical spell over him. She treats him poorly and is kinda bossy, but somehow he always seems to go back for more. Even when there is a perfectly nice and beautiful girl right in front of him, he can’t shake the idea of Summer.

Second is Anna. Smart, beautiful and has all of the same interests as Seth. The two of them really are best friends and everything is great, until Summer comes along, and then all recollection of Anna is gone. Well, that is until Anna gets huffy that Seth is spending so much time with Summer.

So our debate has been who Seth should pick. (The funny part is that we have all seen more of the season, and well, we know who he picks.)

All the guys I have asked are insistent that Seth should pick Anna. And that Summer is no good for him.

The girls I have asked, try and be as optimistic as the boys, but pick Summer. They know all too well the power of a captivating woman.

In the end, Seth does choose Summer and Anna just becomes a memory. (Sorry if I spoiled the show for you.)

The choice seems so easy when you see it on TV. But somehow the same results are always yielded in real life.

So now my question for you is, does the Fascinating Girl ever win, or are they always second string to the Captivating Woman?

Alright, well enough about The OC and my own hidden agenda. (Did I just admit that?)

Here’s to:

More late nights, weird soup and mounds of chicken wings. Every minute is a riot with you all.

The house being clean, but the fruit flies still hanging on. Where are they coming from?

One more day till the weekend, it can’t come fast enough. And this weekend, we are sleeping in.

Good Luck and more than ever, God Speed.

It's the Archie - Veronica - Betty triangle all over.

Yup, that is true. Betty was always better. She doesn't have a mean dad that Archie has to deal with.
