Everybody's Hanging Out Just Like They Hung Out Before

I am not one to complain. Who am I kidding isn’t that the reason that I have a blog, so that the world can hear my complaints? But another weekend has come and go, all without anything too monumental or exciting. It feels like we just keep living the same weekend over and over. At some point in the weekend we go out to eat, we sleep in, we have the same conversations with the same people and watch the same movies. We get just as mad, just as tired, just as jealous, just as silly…every weekend. I guess that is the nature of everyone’s life. And I shouldn’t complain, because really I do love every minute I spend with you…all of you.

Well, this weekend we did do something a bit new. We went to see a foreign film. Yup, look at us being super cultured. We went to watch a movie called Day Watch. A movie about vampires in Russia, a magic piece of chalk, hoards of mosquitoes, a girl with a coat made out of a Muppet and a boy with glitter in his hair. Combine that with subtitles, and I think you have a funny Saturday night to say the least.

I love subtitles as much as the next person, if not more, but this movie made absolutely no sense. I understand it was a sequel, (Shock! What movie have we watched this year that hasn’t been a sequel?) but if I had to explain who all the characters were or anything more than just the basic plotline, I would be at a loss. So about half way through the movie I just made up my own story, and it made the movie ten times better.

Well, that is about it for today. Nothing too much to report.
Doing pretty good today with what I’ve got.
