I Feel Good, In A Special Way

Well, I did it. Five straight days of blogging! Aren’t you excited? Did you even realize?
But really, who was I competing against? I write way more than anybody else does, anyways. Just please don’t expect this many entries next week.

A big congratulations to all the couples that tied the knot this summer, including Brad and Saralynn. It is weird to think you won’t be with us on Sundays anymore. Summer Heat apparently worked for some of us. Maybe I should have tried harder with Brad, the original person behind all of my “If You Don’t, Don’t” lyrics. Nah, who am I kidding. I like to use my voice, and not just text message.

Today I am all a buzz for several reasons, but most of all, the fact that my Facebook friends have voted me “Best Public Speaker”. Seriously, I think that is the best compliment I could receive. I am so super proud. Almost as proud as when I won Ms. Victoria Park.

Rounding out the ten other qualities I was voted for include: most loyal, more jealous of, crazier, creative, useful, talkative, trustworthy, popular, rather live with, athletic (I think that is a lie) and confident.

I don’t know who I was compared against, who is less athletic than me? But I am loving the compliments, even if it is just on Facebook.

Finally being Friday and one of the last half days at work. How am I going to work a whole day on Fridays now that I know the joys of half a day?

Giving up my Ms. Victoria Park title. What a great year it has been! Let’s just hope that the new champion will pick up where we left off…wherever that is.

Whoop Up Days! Excited for long lines, sketchy food and even sketchier people. Let’s hope there are stories but good and funny. This is our last shot at any summer magic.
