A bright and cheery Monday to you all. Actually, I feel more like death this morning and heaven knows the last place I want to be today is at work... I just need to go back to bed today.
The weekend was such a blur, seriously, where did it go?
Friday was pretty low key with some new friends and some of our favourite old friends. Jenny introduced us to the worst, most horrific “game” in the world. I don’t know how any of us are going to look at some people the same way again, especially the Wood brothers.
Saturday, after some erratic driving, and a lot more running than any of us bargained for, we ended up all staying up WAY, WAY too late and subsequently really felt the pain of that decision on Sunday.
The conference party was such a big success. Better than last time? I don’t know, but it was still good. Great food, lots of friends and heaps of candy. Our house it completely trashed, we were way too tired to clean it up yesterday, but it was still a great time. I can’t wait for April for it to all happen again.
We went on a beautiful walk last night, wrote some songs, like “Turkeys are Satan’s Bird on Earth”, “Scrubbing a Fork” and "Kinder Suprise", and then watched The Third Wheel, well watched it the best way that we could with all the noisy talking around us.
We all fell asleep quite easily. Life keeps going by at a lightening speed. It is amazing that every weekend is so jam packed, and over before we know it.
