Don't Back Out Now

Aren't you going to be just a little bit sad when October is over?

Today I am suppose to tell you about my favourite fiction book. Most of you know that I hardly finished any of the selections our book club picked. (I still can't believe I was in a book club.) But when picking books of my own choosing and not analysing them to death, I kinda like reading.

So instead of one book, I will tell you about my favourite author. Sophie Kinsella is a British author who writes hilarious, girly books. Years ago, I decided that I needed to do more reading in my life, and I wandered the bookstore trying to find something to whet my reading appetite. I finally stumbled on a bright pink book, "Confessions of a Shopaholic." It seemed more like a self help book, and so I blindly purchased it, and to my surprise had stumbled on a fantastically funny book. The Shopaholic books soon turned into a series of books, each one funnier than the last. (Don't watch the movie...it will just make you sad.)

I was delighted to see that even even the stand alone books were awesome. And I now have quite the collection of Sophie Kinsella books on my bookshelf.

Enjoy a reading from one of her new books. (It's a pretty great book.)

Check out all of Sophie's books, they are well worth your time.
