Sorry I haven't talked to you all in a while. It is hard to believe that it is June. How did we get this far into the year already?
This past Saturday the ladies and I went to Calgary to see Sarah Slean in concert again. The show was simple, the theatre beautiful and Sarah's energy and passion infectious. I think this is why I love Peter Katz so much as well. Both Sarah and Peter put their all into their music and listening to them preform live is like receiving part of their heart. (I know, cheesy) It almost made me wish I was passionate about something more than just apples.
We got home much too late, and shopped in the big city a little too much, but we really did have a good time, and the concert was a perfect ending to a perfect day.
I often forget the good time that the three of us had living together. Some days it seems like more than a lifetime ago that we fell asleep on our front lawn or invented naan pizzas. Sunday night, if we hadn't had enough of each other already, Ashley came over to partake in our ever delicious Mexican food, and enjoy the craziness that is 'Saturday's Warrior.'
If you can believe it, I had never had the privilege of viewing this iconic Mormon movie. And just as I suspected, it was cheesier than I could have ever imagined. We spent the night on the floor, laughing at this over-the-top monstrosity.
The ease of summer is really upon us all, and I have enjoyed the warm evenings and carefree attitudes. It is funny what bit of sunshine can do to a person.
Keep your eyes open for new posts about the mixed emotion weekend that is the 25+ Conference (Seriously, am I that old?) Maybe keep a couple of fingers crossed on my behalf.
Keep doing what you're doing.
Good Luck, and by all means, God Speed.
As Always,

So sorry to hear about you not getting the job. We were hopeful and prayerful for you. Something better is around the corner--all it takes is faith, hope and patience. Love, Aunt Gayle
