Out Of Order

Hey, I’m back! Did you all miss me?

My family, friends and coworkers spent last week passing a cold around, and I ended up sounding like a 60-year-old chain smoker. But I am feeling pretty good and definitely looking pretty good today. Just four and half more days until another long weekend!

Let’s see, what has been going on.

Friday night our ward had a potluck. I am not fond of the potluck, it always seems to be mystery food being served. It is my hope one day that no one bringing food to the potluck will bring a main dish and it will turn into an accidental dessert potluck. But sadly, that never happens.

But more important that any of the food that was brought on Friday night, I was again able to have another real-life conversation with the internet boyfriend. He doesn’t say much. (Which is probably good, considering I say too much). I regaled him with all of my best stories; Bread Dog, Shirtless Weightlifter, Orange Truck/Orange Hair, needless to say, I brought my A game. The night ended with a good old Victoria Park Clap, and it once again felt like the glory days.

I will say one more thing about my internet boyfriend. He told me last night he went to the dance on Friday, thinking I would be there. Sadly, there is still so much that he needs to learn about me.

Brent and Jen and of course Tawny came to Lethbridge for General Conference, and we celebrated Thanksgiving early. We thankfully, finally heard from Eric, who seems to be doing better than ever.
