Diverging Paths

Jenny came home last night and said to me, “What have you been up to?”

“Deciding that I am going to write a letter stating my disgust to MuchMusic. I just watched the worst show ever!” I replied.

“That is what you do, write letters.” Jenny laughed.

With the Olympics now over, I have had to return to my limited cable channels, alternating between MuchMusic and MTV. Both stations these days have little to no music actually on them. But MuchMusic is by far the stupider channel.

MuchMusic is just full of crude “humour” (nothing they do is funny), blatant swearing and more about celebrity gossip than any sort of music. (I don’t care what Lindsay Lohan is up to.)

I don’t watch MuchMusic too often, choosing the “reality” filled MTV, over its once superior counterpart. I would much rather watch a whole Hills marathon than ten minutes of “The Totally Untrue Story of….”

So, I wrote this letter. Just like my McDonalds outcome, I am not expecting anything to change, but someone at MuchMusic should be aware that I think their programming is stupid.

Only two hours left of work on this our last half Friday for the summer. After two months of only working four hours on Fridays, I am not sure how I am going to return to five, eight hour days.
