“It Must Be Summer; He’s Cagey And I’m Confused”

I about died of laughter when I heard today’s title coming out of my friend’s mouth the other night. I love the fact that most people recognize summer by backyard BBQs or trips to the beach, YSA on the other hand; calculate a successful summer based on the number of victorious versus failed summer romances.

Well, we made it through the week. I cleaned off not only my own desk, but also RDPs, filed all of our stray papers, made an exceedingly impressive list of work in progress, and insured that no major crisis will occur while I am gone, all while maintaining extreme professionalism and bouncy hair.

The office is still in a panic that both my boss and I will be taking holidays at the same time, but I have prepared them as best as I can, I can promise, no guarantee, that nothing will happen while we are gone.

So bring on a whole week without affidavits, Notice of Motions, voicemail, timesheets or even black dress socks! I need a break.

We have definitely hit single digits in the time left until we lose Eric to Elder Garner. Somehow I don’t remember it being this difficult when we sent our first Elder Garner. But I know that the three musketeers will survive and Eric will do great things in the Dominican! Good luck, we will miss you!

Counting:

The three short hours until work is finished for another week.

Thinking:

Of all of the things I still need to pack.

Missing

You. Surprising, I know.

Thanks to all of you! Hoping to still get a few posts out next week.

As Always,
