Somehow, we made it through the weekend and on to Monday. Is it horrible that about half way through Friday night I wished that it was just Monday already and that the weekend was over? Don’t worry it wasn’t overly bad, it just wasn’t overly good.
A big thank you to all of those who have pointed out that my blog as of late as been rather cryptic. (And yes, I knew I was being obscure. It was intentional.) But maybe it is time, as suggested, to just write all of my thought in a diary that I hide underneath my mattress or in a sock drawer of some sorts, however, with the transition that apparently has overtaken all of us, there really won’t be a need for secretive truths. Sorry. I promise to write stuff you will all understand.
Get ready for this curve. I have developed a new love for sweatpants. I know. I don’t really believe it myself.
For those of you who are not overly familiar with my day to day clothing choices should know that I am usually against hanging out in pajamas or any like comfort clothing. Usually done up properly with makeup and big hair, I enjoy being well dressed and prepared for any unexpected company or late night outings. Living, for the past four years, at various houses where people make random stop ins and popovers has prepared me for this way of life.
However with the professional look I like to sport at the office, I find myself with three wardrobe changes through out the day. Therefore, now in an effort to streamline my procedure, I figure it was just time to take out the middle, semi-causal step. (Wouldn’t Stacey and Clinton be devastated?)
And let me tell you something, sweatpants are so comfortable! To think that I have been missing out on years of comfort. Please don’t worry, I have not abandoned all of my standards, I still do sport black eyelashes at all times, and my hair is as big, if not bigger than normal. I just wonder why it took me so long to breakdown. I do at times feel like I could at any minute break out into some elaborate yoga position, or that I look like I should start jogging around the block, but it is all just an illusion.
Who knows, hoodies might just be the next step. Maybe I will be wearing Crocs to work sooner than I hope.
Sad:
I left my cell phone at home today. Even though I don’t really need it at the office, I still kinda feel lost without it. And heaven knows I don’t know anyone’s phone number without my contacts list.
Amazed:
With how awesome my wool pants are. I only wish that I had somewhere more awesome than the office to wear them.
Pleased:
The morning went by so fast! Here’s hoping the afternoon is just as quick.
Impressed:
By all the fun Saskatchewan has to offer me. Looking forward to a road trip there!
Doing the best with what I’ve got. Hoping things pick up sometime soon.
Thanks to God.

I'm not a sweatpants person, I don't even own any, but I like PJ pants. I only as of moving here, 2 hoodies. And I don't own crocs.
