The Dissimilarities Are Staggering

A happy, warmer Tuesday to all. Not having a real window in my office, or lunch on Mondays, the only time I was outside during the day yesterday was in the morning, when with the impressive wind chill, really made it cold outside! So when I left the office at 4:00pm, I bundled up good and tight with multiple layers, only to go outside to find a Chinook like temperatures. Let’s keep temperatures on the plus side for a while.

The other day, Mr. LOL (Which I really have to find a better nickname for him, because well, it seems a little bit too Sex And The City calling him that. And well, I know I really should just stop “talking” to him, or at the very least, have more live, in-person conversations with him. But I am thinking that we are beyond a normal friendship at this point.)

Anyways, he asked me what my hobbies are. I made up a lame list of things that didn’t seem too overly weird. But the list just made me seem like everyone else.

*Note: Please don’t ask stupid general questions such as, “What do you do for fun?”

So after a couple of days of thinking, I realized did things for fun, but nothing like your run of the mill, “bottle cap collecting” hobbies

So I came up with an eclectic list of things I find enjoyable, including:

Blogging and re-reading all of my old blogs to remember just how awesome I have always been

Listening to music and making fun of other’s musical choices

Watching Iron Chef America and then getting inspired to create something new with all of the weird leftovers we have in the fridge

Ironing, ironing and more ironing

Beating all of you at Trivial Pursuit, Cranium, Jeopardy, Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader or any game where our general knowledge goes head to head.

Cleaning my bathroom, and well, pretty much any bathroom I am in

Finding great horoscopes and fortune cookie fortunes

Telling long-winded stories, again and again

Writing up lists that either convict me of lunacy or show off my unique personality.

Thanks for all of the help with the headlights. It is so much better to drive with two lights, rather than just one, or none.

Sleeping better, looking great as per usual and counting down the days until my maybe, hopefully raise at Staff Reviews on Friday.

Love to all.
