Welcome one and all to Monday and officially autumn.
Everyone seems pretty subdued today and the office is pretty quiet. I guess everyone has a case of the Mondays today, although I am still a little weirded out. When I got to my office this morning, everything had been moved and was definitely not where I left it on Friday. I think the cleaning people messed everything up. Which, yes, I understand is an oxymoron.
The weekend was relatively simple. Girls Night Out due to our lack of being able to acquire a date to Fall Ball, even after we employed all of our Fascinating Girl techniques. Although I think I have to admit that any estrogen-filled night is better than any formal dance, any day.
Small amounts of sleeping in, which I am more than grateful for. And finally the move of the century that we have all been waiting on. Looking forward to all kinds of fun with my new Bert and Ernie. (Come on, you know that’s funny.)
And Sunday filled with my favourite ward, favourite family, favourite friends and favourite episodes of The Office.
Looking forward to:
New episodes of Heroes. We finished the DVDs just in time. (What kind of geeks are we?)
The Second Annual Denise Garner Apple Taste Test! Can the Fuji apple defend its title?
New season of The Office! With the new TV, we can watch every week!
Jimmy Eat World, in concert! How do I keep forgetting to mention that?
Thinking:
You might pay cheaper rent, but our house has cable, and well, doesn’t smell like a ferret….it just smells like a tent. Congratulations!
Jim Halpert is definitely at the top of all of our lists.
Only 4 ½ more days until the weekend again, but who’s counting?
I've got to admit it's getting better
A little better, all the time
It can't get no worse
Good Luck. God Speed.
Lots of Love.
