Good morning to one and all. I know I promised last week that I wouldn’t be blogging everyday, but I have gotten in such a habit. Hopefully you can stay caught up with all of the stories. (Really, they aren’t that complex)
Last night, following FHE, and me embarrassing myself in front our ward, yet again, we went to see Stardust. I know some of you have been dying for my review. Actually, no one really asked what I thought, but here is my opinion anyways.
A little over a year ago, Flick and I watched some funny and highly enjoyable Japanese anime, Mermaid Forrest. Check out the entry about it here. Funny how everything and everyone has changed in just a year.
Well, I am pretty sure that either the Japanese anime people stole this story, or vice versa. Now instead of a star, it was a mermaid. But pretty much everything else was the same. Witches, pirates, scary royalty, the promise of eternal life. It is all there.
So if you enjoyed the movie Stardust, please, please check out Mermaid Forrest, especially with the subtitles on. It will change your life.
