Sarah Got Flowers, Ginger Got A Talk On The Porch
If I actually wrote out the whole weekend and explained everything that we did, or was said it would take you a week to read. Really, no exaggeration. Here is the weekend, in true and false statementsjust be happy that I am not making you correct the false statements to make them true.
Friday
True:
I will never be part of Lord of the Dance.
Red Church Punch is second only to McDonald's Orange Drink.
Guys look great in suits! Almost better than shirtless.
Sometimes guys are sweet without meaning to be.
Great musical taste is one of the top qualities you need in a spouse.
False:
You can dance to anything (Despite what the DJ might have thought.)
It is totally appropriate to make out at dances, especially during the prayer.
Hay bales are approved decorations for church functions. (I learned on Sunday they are frowned upon)
Hoodies and sweatpants classify as formal wear.
Saturday
True:
The way to a woman's heart is chocolate.
It would be fun to have a pet chicken.
Girls will talk about you when you leave.
We always go to bed too late.
False:
The Corn Maze is less confusing at night.
Everyone likes Nickelback.
It is a good idea to start a movie at midnight.
Physical contact is never awkward or unwanted, especially during movies.
Sunday
True:
Ward Council is always fun!
The Sewer Treatment Plant is surprisingly pretty at night.
Beavers need a lot of personal space.
Reenactments are always funny.
Girls will remember everything you say.
False:
Political conversations are fun and win girls over. (Well, maybe some girls)
My room is clean.
So there you go, my weekend in a nutshell. If you are interested in a more detailed story, just ask.
Love you! Miss you! Can't stand the days without you!
PS- Flick wanted me to acknowledge that the title of this blog is part of her song titled, "And I Got Nothing". Hopefully she will record it one day. It is great. Maybe not as great as "Fall Ball For It All", definitely more a winner than "Fred's Got Slacks".

Why Can't We Be Friends?
So I got really sneaky and decided that if I published all of my blogs in Word, then I could continue to tell you all about the on goings of my life, and not feel so bad for “blogging” at work.
Work is going well. I am super tired. Please people, stop getting divorced! Can’t you just work it out? Do you know how much work this creates for me? Not to mention all of the wasted trees from all of the paper I have to print off and attach to your file. Today I have to get some divorce papers on this poor guy that has no idea that his wife wants a divorce. “Hey hope you’re having a good day, by the way, your wife wants to leave you. See you later.” Boo…I am not looking forward to this.
In other matrimonial news, a big congratulations to Brent and Jen for tying the knot this pass Saturday. It was a great wedding, with a fun time had by all. I am only disappointed that there weren’t more single cousins or friends. C’est La Vie.
Oh yes, and I almost forgot to include the most recent news and what the YSA is all a buzz about…The Fall Ball. Don’t you love the name? They could have come up with something classier like the Harvest Celebration or the Autumn Merrymaking…but no, they choose Fall Ball. I like it because it rhymes. And it is just so much fun to say.
“Have you been asked to the Fall Ball?”
“Do you have a dress for Fall Ball?”
“How was Fall Ball?”
No one has come out of the wood work to ask me to the Fall Ball yet, but it is only a matter of time. Something as important as the Fall Ball…it is bound to happen. (Although don’t hold your breath.)
Alright, well I am off to serve this poor guy. Boo! (I just found out this is the guy’s second divorce!)

This Is The First Day Of My Life
My deepest apologies to my fan club or just passerbys. I have been seriously slacking in all computer duties as of late.
I went to check my e-mail the other day, and had 27 new messages! What happened to my glorious university days when I would check my e-mail around every corner I went. I can check my e-mail on my phone, but it is just too much scrolling to get the whole message, and try typing your 13 letter password in the your phone...it is a pain.
I digress.
What a wild and crazy couple of weeks it has been. Since winning my glorious Miss Victoria Park title (I still put the crown on every once and while...don't judge me, if you had won you would do it too.) life has really been a whirlwind. (I am exhausted!)
I went to Utah with my family to visit with all my extended family. It was an okay time...not as many spiders or as hot. It is really different from when we were younger. No asthmatic donkey, no sketchy swing set or even water with food colouring in it.
I started my adult life. Which I have realized is very hard. First you have to dress up everyday. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy looking nice...I just don't enjoy getting up so early. But I guess it is the sacrifice I have to make to be the best dressed person in the office. (No, I didn't give myself that title...the lady whose office is next to mine said that. And I will take it)
Plus now I have to have stimulating conversations at work about current events and politics...I can hold my own in both subjects, but somehow I have more fun telling people the crazy antics of me and my roommates, and about all of my cute friends. C'est la vie. I guess I wanted to be a grown up and I got my wish.
Brent's wedding is next week, which is seriously funny. I have known about this wedding for a long time, but it always just seemed like something that would happen in the distant future. I have to give a speech at the wedding...and one up Eric's Best Man speech.
Everything is so new right now. I guess summer really is over. We were looking for change and we got it.
