You Wanna Be Stupid, Let's Get Stupid.

Good morning and welcome back from a long weekend that really wasn’t that long enough. My horoscope this morning (I have run out of fortune cookies) said, “Today you will be filled with unexpected happiness and energy.” Not true! It is a good thing that I wore my skull shirt today, based on how I am feeling this morning.

Hear me now, and believe me later, but I hate, HATE practical jokes and pranks. HATE. I do not find anything funny about those dumb hidden camera shows, and just hearing about pranks from people’s missions makes me incredibility stressed out. Recently there has been quite the rash of pranks in our ward. I have been safe, thus far, from all of the mess, but I still have to hear about it and it really does stress me out. Last night our house or I guess I should say someone in our house was pranked. Flick is a lot easier going than I am about it, and actually laughed this morning when she found her car jacked up and put on blocks. Thank goodness it was her and not me.

A couple of years ago, I went out to my car to go to work, and something just didn’t feel right. My car is pretty messy anyways, but that day it seemed a little extra messy. I couldn’t quite put my finger on what was wrong, until I noticed that my new Discman was gone. I was kind of upset that the Discman was gone, I had only had it a couple of weeks, but what I was more upset about was the fact that my James Taylor Greatest Hits CD was inside.

I am sure whoever stole it wasn’t enjoying ‘Sweet Baby James’ or ‘You’ve Got A Friend’. I am pretty sure that they opened up the Discman and said, “What is this?” and probably threw it out the window. The only hope I have is that some hobo picked it up and decided to change their life because of the sweet voice of James Taylor. But do hobos have stereos? I digress.

Had the thieves come to my house, knocked on the door and said, “Denise, we really need a Discman, can you help us out?” I would have given my old Discman. Or at least taken my James Taylor out of my other Discman.

Oh well, I have an iPod now and I have even replaced my James Taylor CD. But please don’t touch my stuff, or at least ask me before you steal anything that is mine.

In other news, I did get a very cheesy, but funny yes to preference this weekend. It should be a good time…”It is always a fun when you go with a good friend.” And I will be glad when all of this preference junk is over.

Oh well, Happy Tuesday that really feels like a Monday. Things are bound to get better. I hope.

Love you. Miss you. I will be here when you get tired of her.

DENISE!!!
Be strong like unto a rock. That's all. Oh, except I wish that you would get more nightly calls from boys about pranks...

Was that not the dumbest thing?

So for everyone's sake. Last night, I got a phone call from the boys that are pranking asking me if I can talk to the RS about not pranking anymore.

How about you stop pranking people, and then most likely the pranks will stop.
