Budget--Get Out Of The Ordinary

Well...Here it is. My last week of working for Budget Car and Truck Rentals. It has only been the last year and a half of my life, and now I guess that it is time that I become a real adult. Maybe about time considering I am 25. (I guess life really does begin at 25)

So I have 4.5 days left of work, and then a week of "holidays" in the glorious hamlet of Lakepoint, UT. (Is it even a hamlet?)

I am somewhat melancholy to be leaving my slack, funny, comfortable job. We always seem to have a good time, with lots of laughs everyday. The hardest thing I have to do, is ask "Would you like the coverage on the vehicle?" the rental car equivalent of "Would you like fries with that?"

Not to toot my own horn (Toot, Toot) but I don't know what Chuck is going to do without me for a while. I am the one who remembers where all the cars are, and where she put all the contracts, plus, I am the only one that puts the paper work away. But I know they will be fine, and I am trying to line up some good help for them.

But it is time to move on. Welcome September. I think this is the new beginning that we have been waiting for. (But then again, didn't we say that in May, June, July and August? We have to be right sometime.)

Thanks for all the wonderful moments, early mornings, dirty cars and annoying customers. I will miss you.

I know, I thought about that.

I only have my sad, paint peeling, no locking, seatbelt not working car.

But at least she is mine and working...for now.
