You Shall Soon Be Rewarded For Your Endeavors

Oh my. I am so sorry.

It is very unlike me to not update in such a long while. I am going to blame it on the craziness at work, and Chuck's silent crack down on us goofing off so much at work.

But the real answer is that I have just been lazy. So, I am sorry. Hopefully you haven't gotten so bored of not having something new to read that you have moved on. Please come back!

Well, let's see, what has been going on?

I am moving (yes, again!) on Saturday, July 1, 2006. Which will kinda be funny because that means that it has been two years since I have been living on my "own" I moved into the 727 house on July 1, 2004.

I am moving in with Ginger and Sarah. Which is so surreal! We have been planning this move for over 6 months, and now it is really happening. I spend every, and I mean EVERY night over at that house anyways, so it just really makes sense to move in. Now I don't have to drive home to the Northside, and stubble into bed. I can just stubble down the hallway. We are never going to get any sleep in that house! We barely get any now!

Besides I think my heart has already moved from my old house. Not that I won't miss living with all of them and the clay parrot, our non-soundproof house, or even "spy" neighbour next door. It is just time.

It will be great to be part of the 14 Ave club. We all know the coolest people live on 14 Ave!

Now just to finish packing. I know I only moved 6 months ago, but I have sadly acquired more stuff in that time. And a lot more clothes. Boo! Why is this so hard?!?

Uhmm..my Grandpa died, on Wednesday. In which I feel really bad "blogging" about. Funeral is on Monday.

Flick and I finally rented our Japanese Anime! Everytime we went to rent a movie, we would always pick up this movie and read the back in a very dramatic tone. It was about people eating mermaids. It was hilarious.

So as one of our last acts as roommates, me and Flick rented our epic tale. "Mermaid Forest: Quest For Death"

I guess it really isn't a movie, just a tv show, so we don't really know how it ends. But it was still hilarious. The subtitles don't even match the words!

Other than that, nothing too,too exciting has been going on. Fun times with family, friends and cute boys. I got a fortune cookie the other day that said, "Now is the time to depart from your regular routine." I believe it more everyday. July is seeming like it will be just what I have been waiting for.

Love you! Miss You! Can't get enough of you!

Sunday's On The Phone To Monday, Tuesday's On The Phone To Me

A bright and happy Tuesday to you all! At least we all don't have to work that hard today. Have I told you the theory of my week yet?

There is only one day of the week that you really have to work, and that Wednesday.

Monday you don't have to work that hard because any slackness you have you can blame it on being Monday. Friday is similar to Monday, meaning who could possibly work that hard on Friday, and you don't really want to start anything new because, well, it's the end of the week.

Tuesday and Thursday don't really have feelings. Think about it. Monday has a noticeable feeling, as does Friday, but Tuesday and Thursday are just filler days. When you think back to how your week has been, Tuesday and Thursday are just blurry.

So, Wednesday is the only day in which you really have to buckle down and do some serious work...doesn't this make your week all that much better? Only one day of work a week!

The birthday went very well. As good as could be expected. I had dinner and cake with my family and then went to play on the Astro Jumps. After, Ginger and Sarah organized a small something...NOT a birthday party, with all of my favourite people (my fiancee, a model, and a 'six year old'). It was actually a retirement party. (Thanks for the cake, girls!)

So far 25 is turning out better than I thought. I really don't know what I thought it would be...impending doom rather than, wonderful nothingness.

Have a wonderfully great day, and rest of the week.
You are too cute not to love.

It's Also Race Unity Day!

Well, it's my birthday today. (I hate to say that out loud because then you look super overly selfish...notice me, notice me!)

What?!? Is it? It can't be. Today, is Denise's birthday? I thought her birthday was in September or something? No, it's not today, is it?

Alright, so here are some birthday stories for you. I was thinking about it, and there are suprisingly quite a few.

  • I was, I guess, due on June 10, 1981. Hoewever, for some odd reason I decided to come on June 9. The ONE day I am early for something. The whole rest of my life I have have been late for everything. I like to think it is because I was early getting here, in an effort to never let that happen again, I am late for everything.

  • My birthday is always the same day as the Brooks Rodeo, or I should say around the same week. Second weekend in June. For some unknown reason, Brooks really loves the rodeo. The town is anything but cowboy, anything. But there are always a ton of Newfies and African walking around in cowboy hats all week. (Quite a funny picture) Midnight Madness was the end all, be all of things to do during rodeo. And my friends always wanted me to go with them. (I am not much for rides.) One year they begged me to go with them as a "birthday present" My friends didn't have enough money for me and them to get into the gate, so I ended up paying for it, and then because I was too scared to go on any of the rides, I just held everyone's coat all night! So then we went to play games, and my friends won all kinds of crap...and I didn't win anything, nothing. C'est La Vie.

  • Well, my birthday is the same day as Donald Duck! Pretty cool, eh?

So that is about it. Hope you all have a wonderful day, and a wonderful birthday when yours comes around.

Love you even when you are not with me.

Whatcha Gonna Have To Say For Yourself?

Are you gonna live your life wonderin’ standing in the back lookin’ around?
Are you gonna waste your time thinkin' how you’ve grown up or how you missed out?
Things are never gonna be the way you want.
Where's it gonna get you acting serious?
Things are never gonna be quite what you want.
Even at 25, you gotta start sometime

It's Just A Matter Of Time Until We're All Found Out

So a very happy June to all of my dear readers. I am sorry that I haven't updated in a little while. The past couple of weeks have been a little crazy with all sorts of things from sad puppies to weird propositions to Japanese Anime, sword fighting craziness. But it should be all good now...I hope. Hopefully, maybe, one day you can hear the whole story.

In recent news that I have been forgetting to mention. Brent and Jen got engaged, and are planning on getting married in September! Also Ashlee is engaged and getting married next summer and Cynthia is getting married in August. Seriously every time you turn around someone new is getting married. I didn't even know that anyone was really dating. It just seems like a lot of single people everywhere I look.

And in other marriage related news, the Bishop told me and Jesse that he would marry us last night. We should have taken him up on the offer. It would have been highly funny. But I guess you don't get married as a joke, do you?

Sorry, this is a bad update. Maybe one day there will be a real update with super exciting news. But for right now, you will just have to hold your breath for that.

Love you more everyday!
